Rose oil , which is one of the most important raw materials of perfume and cosmetics industry, is produced by steam distillation method (boiling) in pink roses of oil.
ROSE OIL
It is obtained from roses grown in the Keçiborlu county and surrounding villages of Isparta, which are located at altitudes of 1050 meters higher than the sea level of The World's standard level. The roses gathered in May, June and July of every year contribute to the production of rose oil in superior quality, which is the contribution of the weather conditions.
THE PRODUCTION OF ROSE OIL
The roses are grown with special care all year and the harvest lasts for 30 days. When the day starts the workers are going to the field without losing time they collect the roses before the sunrise is gone. The rose flowers gathered from the rose gardens are delivered in the factory of rose and the production is prepared by arranging the 500 kilograms ness according to the operation. The flower boilers are filled with 1500 liters of water, weighted rose flowers to be added. After the doors are closed, roses are subjected to distillation 2-3 atmospheres underwater vapor pressure by experts of roses. Concentrated oily water is distilled averaging 70-80 minutes.
